We accept debit and credit cards payments(over £5) as well as cash.
Parking is free – we have a large car park with no height restrictions which is free to use when you visit the museum. We also have dedicated Disabled Access parking spaces that are beside the Museum entrance where there is also a ramp for wheelchair access
Yes – dogs are welcome but must stay in the Museum compound where we also keep dog bowls for drinking, and are not permitted inside the Museum. However, Guide and/or Assistance dogs are allowed inside the museum.
Yes – you can arrange private visits during the open season, but you must do this by emailing us HERE giving us details of numbers attending and dates required. Please note that there are charges for such visits that vary on numbers and dates. We cannot guarantee to arrange every private visit, but we will endeavour to help you if we can.
Absolutely! All donations to the Museum and Bentwaters Aviation Society are gratefully accepted, and can also include Gift Aid. Online donations can be made using the link on the homepage
Yes – we sell a sumber of items in the Museum shop as well in our online store that include baseball caps, beanie hats, tea towels, t-shirts, patches, and many other items.
No – we use the Winter or “Closed Season” to work on improving the museum for the following years. We undertake maintenance, restoration, and many other tasks during the Winter months to make your visits worthwhile when we are open.
The airfield is totally out of bounds. There are security guards on site who patrol the business park as well as CCTV in operation.
Yes – we are always looking for volunteers to assist us with the running of the Museum. Simply talk to a member of staff at the Musem or email us directly with any queries you might have.
