Group Visits to the BCWM

Please use this form to enquire about making a group visit to the BCWM – simply enter your details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Note that the following criteria apply to group visits;

  • There is a minimum charge of £150 to visit the BCWM with an additional £10 charge per head on groups larger than 15 visitors
  • All visits requested by local Scout, Guides, Beavers, Cubs, and Explorer groups should refer to their affiliations in the form below so that we can arrange a donation based costing model directly with you instead of the charges referred to above.
  • All out of hour visits are arranged depending on BCWM staff availability and are not guaranteed. All BCWM staff are volunteers and can make such visits possible by giving up their free time.
  • Visits to the BCWM Restoration Hangar are possible as part of your visit, but are charged at an additional £5 per person. We have the facility to take 16 people to the hangar, but if your group number is larger we can work out details as part of the plans for your visit. Please note that children under 14 are not permitted in the HAS due to Health & Safety reasons.
  • Visits will commence from 0930 onwards. The latest start time for a group visit is 1430 between October & March, and 1900 between April & September. Please expect to spend an average of 2 hours inside the museum, and up to 1 hour in the restoration hangar if that option is selected.

Please note that children under 14 cannot visit the HAS due to Health & Safety reasons.
Please note we have a large car park that is free of width and height restrictions that you can use. This is situated directly opposite the BCWM and where you should park upon arrival.
Please note that between October and March due to the winter darkness, all visits will be completed by 1600 hours at the latest. Please ensure your requested visit times do not start or finish after 1600 hours as we will be unable to accommodate them.
Once we are able to confirm we can accommodate your request, we will email you confirmation of the times, dates, and costs for your visit. All payments (if applicable) must be made at least 1 week prior to your arrival. We can invoice you if required, or provide a link to pay the total amount via our online shop. Please watch out for an email from chris.balmer@bentwaters-org.uk and check that it has not been put into any Junk or Spam email folders.
Please remember that the BAS/BCWM is a volunteer staffed charity, and all visits are only possible if staff are available for your requested dates. This is not guaranteed, and we apologise in advance if we cannot accommodate you.
