Travel back in time to the 1980’s and experience the sights and sounds of a combat alert at RAF Bentwaters during the Cold War in a unique night at the Bentwaters Cold War Museum.
Join our uniformed re-enactors for a ‘Live’ Night in the Command Post Operations Room, and watch from the gallery as they re-enact a scenario depicting real combat operations. It’s an opportunity to see what really happened in the Cold War and the perfect opportunity to take some very unique photos!
Your ticket allows access to the museum for the evening from 5.30pm until 9.00pm to view the museums exhibition rooms, outside exhibits under floodlight conditions, and our American diner themed snack bar will open for refreshments all evening.
Your ticket will also allow access to one of the ”combat alert” re-enactments that take place in the museum operations room and “Battle Cab” This is repeated three times during the evening (6pm, 7pm, 8pm) with each session limited to just 30 people, however whichever time slot you book you are welcome to join us for the whole evening to look around the other museum exhibition rooms & enjoy refreshments in our diner.
Our Diner and shop will be open throughout the evening from 5.30pm until 9pm when the event finishes.
